Factory Cleaning:
Full cleaning during the 'close-down' periods. Oil sump/tank cleaning. Suction
cleaning of dust control equipment including all ducting - high and overhead, internal and external.
Floor Cleaning:
All types of floor surface including concrete. Degreasing, scarifying,
scrubbing and polish stripping, re-applying and sealing; the floor surface determines which method
will be used.
Light Fittings:
Suspended, spot and strip lighting cleaned with all fitting thoroughly cleaned
and diffusers removed for washing.
Plant Cleaning:
Detailed hand cleaning; de-greasing and suction cleaning carried out as
required.
Toilet Cleaning:
De-carbonising and de-greasing all equipment. Regular maintenance of
extraction systems, filters and ducting to reduce flash fire risk. Washing of all walls, tiles and
ceiling carried out.
Carpet and Upholstery Cleaning:
Chewing gum removed, hot water soil extraction and wet shampooing.
Paint Washing:
Paintwork, walls and ceilings cleaned and repainted if necessary.
Steam Cleaning:
High pressure machine used to clean inside and outside walls, floors,
paint etc.
Emergency Service:
Mop up and restore after flood, fire or spillages.
Alarm Receiving Centre (ARC):
Our new ARC is now fully operational and we have received confirmation of our successful application to obtain NSI ARC Gold Certification, meeting all relevant British Standards. We are not an installation company and therefore the only truly independent ARC in Scotland, and have many years of experience in the security industry. Our staff are all vetted to BS 7858:2004 and we operate all ARC services to the relevant British Standards.
24Hr Alarm Monitoring
We provide a remote monitoring service around the clock. This includes the
monitoring of Intruder alarms and Fire alarms to BS 5979:2000. We are fully capable of handling alarms
from both PSTN and ISDN telephone lines through a Digi Receiver and also through the BT Redcare
system.
CCTV Monitoring
We are also a RVRC monitoring station, certified to BS 8418:2003. We are able
to remotely monitor (Dark Screen) Detector Activated CCTV Systems through PSTN and ISDN Modems as
well as through fixed IP addresses over a Broadband connection.
Key-Holding
For a small premium, Palmaris key-holding will offer you peace of mind whenever
an emergency arises at your premise. We are fully compliant with BD 7984:2001
Mobile Patrols
We carry out regular checks on premises, vehicles and anything else. We are
fully compliant with BS 7499:2002 and can schedule patrol to meet your every need.

If you don't employ a permanent security watch, Palmaris security mobile patrols will

For a small premium, Palmaris keyholding will offer you peace of mind whenever
an emergency arises at your premise. If your alarm is activated outside trading hours will we dispatch
a supervisor to act as an official key holder to meet police, check premises and reset the alarm and deal
with the situation in your absence.
24Hr Control Room:
Our control room is manned 24 hours a day every day of the year. This incorporates
our own control centre which is fitted with a national band 3 radio and community repeater system in our
own national frequency.
Retail Security
Retail Security Officers
Our security officers are trained to handle every situation in a thoroughly professional
manner providing significant support generally, preventing shop theft and other associated crimes. Their
presence ensures that staff and public can go about their business unhindered. Our security officers can
be dressed in traditional uniform or blazer and slacks which incorporate your company logo.
Store Detectives
Our store detectives are fully experienced in identifying potential
shoplifters together with the legal requirements of arrest.
Test Purchasing
This service includes observation of tills in an effort to detect collusion and/or
under ringing
Staff Training
Palmaris have experienced personnel who can train your staff in varied techniques
using video based training materials.
Lone Worker Solutions:
Alert
The user presses the alert button on the back of their ID card holder. It is a
covert security device that immediately contracts to our 24/7 alarm receiving centre using the
mobile telephone network.
Listen In
The response coordinator is able to listen to noise going on around the device.
This may require an immediate response or for incidents of verbal abuse the digital recording is
available.
Locate
The response coordinator uses either pre-recorded messages or mobile
telephone tracking or an on-line diary to locate the threatened user.
Respond
Depending upon the severity of the incident the response is actioned. The police,
a private security company or maybe a colleague could all be activated to support the user
of the device.
